Come on, Philippines! Let’s get sickening!
The drag gods have finally sent the Philippines our very own season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. It’s the second Asian edition of the reality show franchise, and we’re all living for it!
“Excited” is an understatement for how Pinoy ‘Drag Race’ fans feel about this moment in herstory. Ever since the auditions opened last August, fans have been dying to learn more about the show.
As of this writing, season one will air this August 17. And on May 15, the show’s teaser was finally released.
Here’s the tea
The trailer shows alum Jiggly Caliente as one of the permanent judges. Kaladkaren, Paolo Ballesteros, and Vice Ganda round out the panel. What’s more, Jiggly Caliente and Kaladkaren are the franchise’s first trans judges. Sickening, no?
