‘The Crown,’ ‘Emily in Paris,’ ‘Cobra Kai’ — Check Out the Release Dates for These Shows’ New Seasons

This fall, Netflix lovers will be pleased to find out that the popular streaming service is gearing up to release a whole slew of new seasons for its most watched TV shows.

From the medieval world of The Witcher to the charmed life of Emily in Emily in Paris, here’s what you can look forward to in the coming months.

October 15, 2021

You season 3 is set to be released mid-October, a sure treat for fans who have been following the psychotic story of Joe and his objects of affection since season 1. As per the trailer, it seems that Joe and Love have welcomed a new baby into their life and have decided to quietly settle down into the normalcy of parenthood. Or so we think.

November 17, 2021

The wild, crazy ride that was Tiger King had us bizarrely glued to our TV sets for the first half of the pandemic last year. While the show has seemingly faded into a fever dream that we all had in the early months of quarantine, the announcement of season 2 looks like it promises to bring more of the captivating character that is Joe Exotic.

December 17, 2021

Henry Cavill and co. will return for the second season of The Witcher this December, with a whole new cast of characters. The new season will reportedly cover Andrzej Sapkowski’s Blood of Elves and Time of Contempt, as well as at least one short story from Sword of Destiny.

December 22, 2021

She’s back for a second season! Watch Lily Collins frolic through the French Riviera in season 2 of Emily in Paris, set to come out just before Christmas. The trailer shows a sneak peek of Emily’s much-needed vacation to the beautiful Saint-Tropez, with a couple of gal pals in tow. We’re not really sure why she’s there, but we expect that she’ll have some fun and misadventures while she’s away.

December 31, 2021

Netflix announced the release date of Cobra Kai‘s latest season with a clip of Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso forming an unlikely team in order to take down their shared enemy, John Kreese. The critically-acclaimed series, which recently received four Emmy nominations, will see season 4 just before the new year, so stay tuned!

November 2022

No official trailer and no release date, and no problem! The Crown still lives up to the hype as it enters its fifth season, set to be released sometime in November of next year. The new season will chronicle the eventual dissolution of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage, as the royal family moves towards the new millennium. Imelda Staunton will play the new Queen Elizabeth, following Olivia Colman and Claire Foy from previous seasons.
