Because of pandemic restrictions, it looks like Pinoys have to cancel their trick or treat and Halloween party plans. However, you can still celebrate Spooktacular October by binging on the latest horror flicks and shows on Netflix.

While you can go back to your favorite titles, Netflix has a lot of creepy content for you to sink your teeth into. If you’re a sucker for a good scary story, Netflix’s original movie Nightbooks tells a tale of a boy who must tell a new scary plot to stay alive. If you miss the thrill of escape rooms, you can imagine yourself in one by watching No One Gets Out Alive.

Relive your childhood by feasting on the WWE special starting the iconic Undertaker himself in an interactive film called Escape The Undertaker. You might want to double or even triple check every nook and cranny of your house after watching There’s Someone Inside Your House. 

If slasher films are more your vibe, you can journey into the woods through the survival film Prey. Do you miss the party scene? You can at least feel the festive vibe by tuning into Night Teeth, which drops on Netflix this October 20.

Are you more of a binge all-night type of person? Well, Netflix has a lot of spooky shows for you to devour as well. The final season of Netflix’s hit show Lucifer has dropped on the content streaming giant. 

Understand what the hype online is about by watching the deadly show that the world is currently raving about, Squid Game. Sadly there is no new The Haunting show installment this year. However, Mike Flanagan’s Midnight Mass stars some of your favorite actors and will leave you creeped out even after you’ve finished the series.

The third season of the hit show You is set to drop on October 15, while the sophomore season of Locke and Keye is set to premiere this October 22.

If these selections are too scary for the fam, there are family-friendly titles you can enjoy as well. Scaredy Cats tells the tale of a young girl who inherits her mom’s (who happened to be a witch) charming necklace. A Tale Dark & Grim is an animated series based on Adam Gitwitz’s hit books. The kids can channel their inner heroes after watching Sharkdog’s Fintastic Halloween.
