Get ready, Aces and BLOOMs!
The latest P-Pop groups to make waves are joining forces as BINI and BGYO get set to headline their first concert at the end of 2021.
The announcement was made by ABS-CBN Entertainment Production and Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi last Friday, June 11, during BINI’s launch event.
“Last quarter of 2021, the first BINI-BGYO concert will happen,” Dyogi said per ABS-CBN News.
Dyogi also disclosed that both BINI and BGYO are currently working on their respective full-length albums. He also said that both groups’ debut singles — BINI’s “Born to Win” and BGYO’s “The Light” — will be released in several foreign-language versions.
Both BINI and BGYO graduated from the Star Hunt Academy where they formed after a worldwide talent search and where both trained for two years. Both are signed to ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.
BINI is an 8-member girl group comprised of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. They were officially launched last Friday, June 11, during a two-part digital event where the group wore ensembles made by renowned designer Francis Libiran and performed their debut single.
BGYO, BINI’s brother group, is a 5-member boy group consisting of Kira, Gelo, JL, Mikki, and Nate. Their debut single “The Light” was released last January. The group’s most recent claim to fame includes their debut at No. 2 on BillBoard’s Next Big Sound chart for the week of May 15.
