The world has yet to recover from being collectively heartbroken by the 10-minute version of Taylor Swift’s fan-favorite song, All Too Well, yet she’s dropping another music video that will keep the internet buzzing about her re-released album, Red.
And Taylor is teaming up with Serena van der Woodsen herself a.k.a one-half of everyone’s favorite Hollywood couple a.k.a Blake Lively. You may think the actress has already a lot on her plate considering she recently launched her brand, Betty Buzz, but like her bestie Taylor, Lively is a queen of productivity.
The blonde besties are releasing the music video of Swift’s I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) [From The Vault]. This project is Lively’s first time donning a directorial hat, which is why fans are freaking out about this major announcement.
As a teaser, Swift and Lively released a 10-second-long clip of a white cake with two red lines drawn through it, before a hand, styled with red nails and a red ring, digs into the treat, revealing more of the cake’s red interior. A title card then appears, reading that the upcoming music video has been written by Lively and Swift before another flash reveals that Lively is the director for the project.
“Verified SURPRISE! NEW MUSIC VIDEO TOMORROW at 10am ET 🚨 I finally got to work with the brilliant, brave, & wickedly funny @blakelively on her directorial debut. Join us as we raise a toast, and a little hell,” Swift captioned in her post.
Needless to say, fans of Swift and Lively are excited that the pair have finally worked together. Will Lively’s famous other half, Ryan Reynolds, make a cameo in the music video? We’ll have to wait and see. One thing’s for sure: it’s pretty fantastic to be a Swiftie right now.
