Aside from traveling, one of the many few things we miss pre-pandemic is attending music festivals. It might have been two years since anyone has been to a Glastonbury Festival, but they’re finally going live at the Worthy Farm on May 22. That’s on May 23 for us in the Philippines and you can totally get tickets to experience the music at home.
Who’s Playing?
Coldplay, Damon Albarn, HAIM, IDLES, Jorja Smith, Kano, Michael Kiwanuka, Wolf Alice are going to be performing at this much-awaited global Livestream event. Also, expect appearances from DJ Honey Dijon and several surprise guests. It will be 5-hours’ worth of performances from the amazing artists, which will also take viewers on a trip across the Glastonbury site.
Create Your At-Home Experience
Before you set up your mini-festival, purchase tickets from Karpos Multimedia. They only cost P1535 and will give you access to the full show. Once that’s settled, don’t forget to stock up on drinks and the usual festival foods like pizza or tacos. If you have a band shirt, you might want to throw that on, too. Then maybe set up a tent outside and hang up some string lights or just build a fort in your living room to set the ambiance.
The Festival’s Return
“After two Glastonbury cancellations, it brings us great pleasure to announce our first ever online Livestream, which will present live music performances filmed across Worthy Farm at landmarks including the Pyramid and, for the first time ever, the Stone Circle,” says event organizer Emily Eavis in an official statement. “We are hoping it will bring a big of Glastonbury to your homes and that for one night only people all over the world will be able to join us on this journey through the farm together,” she concludes.
