EXO’s D.O. drops his long-awaited solo album ‘Empathy’

When EXO’s D.O. (Do KyungSoo) enlisted in the South Korean military back in 2019, he released his solo song ‘That’s Okay’ as a parting gift to his fans. The song proved to be a comfort during his temporary absence but it also made fans want a solo album from D.O.

Since 2021 marked D.O.s release from his military service, he’s certainly catching up on his projects. He was part of EXO’s 7-member comeback album, ‘Don’t Fight the Feeling’ and now, his long-awaited solo album is finally here!

(Empathy) – The 1st Mini Album will delight D.O.s fans worldwide. While majority of the songs are in Korean, the album’s title track ‘Rose’ has an English version while ‘It’s Love’ has a Spanish version. With these two songs, fans were quick to praise D.O. for his spot-on English and Spanish pronunciation. 

The Korean version of D.O.’s title track was released with a music video. In it, D.O. avoids disasters as he enjoys a beautiful day in his neighborhood. Watch the whimsical music video here:
