‘Friends’ By BTS Will Be Included In Marvel’s ‘Eternals’ Soundtrack

A song from BTS’ album “Map of the Soul: 7” will be featured in the soundtrack of “Eternals,” the 26th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to The Direct, “Friends” by BTS has been confirmed by Walt Disney Company Korea as one of the fifteen songs that will be included in the soundtrack of the movie. The song, performed by BTS members Jimin and V, was also written, composed, and produced by Jimin himself.

“BTS and Lizzo are bringing their hits to ‘Eternals’ as the only contemporary hits on this list. This is the type of familiarity that gives Marvel movies that trademark age-inclusive vibe,” the report read.

Some of the other songs included in the soundtrack are “Time” by Pink Floyd, “Sugarfoot” by Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears, “Stay In The Groove (Part 1)” by The Dap-Kings feat. Rickey Calloway, “The End of the World” by Skeeter Davis, “Lend Me Your Comb” by Carl Perkins, and “Juice” by Lizzo.

The Chloé Zhao-directed film “Eternals” is set to premiere in theaters on November 5, 2021. Its star-studded cast includes Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, and Angelina Jolie.
