Justin Bieber Drops New Album and It’s a Hit!

It’s a good year for Beliebers! Just last week, Justin Bieber dropped his sixth studio album, titled Justice, and it’s safe to say it has won fans all over.

The album, which features a snippet of Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech, a long line of deep love songs, and mentions of Bieber’s renewed relationship with Christianity, sees the industry veteran’s triumphant return to pop music.

Singles like “Holy” and “Lonely ” are songs we’ve heard over the radio before, part of the multi-single strategy Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun thought to employ to build anticipation for the complete album.

Other songs, like “Peaches” and “As I Am”, are new to the ear and are already climbing the charts as certified pop hits.  As of now, Spotify’s “Top 50 — USA” playlist is topped by three songs from Justice— a testament to the album’s impending success.

With strong features from the likes of Giveon, Daniel Caeser, and Chance the Rapper, as well as an arsenal of A-list producers, the new album is a promising step up from last year’s Changes.

Critics couldn’t help but notice Bieber’s refreshing mix of genres, with sounds like new wave, funk, 80s synth pop, R&B, Afro beats, and pop rock sprinkled throughout the sixteen tracks.

This, bolstered by the 27-year old’s smooth vocals and catchy beats, has people considering Justice to be one of Bieber’s best albums to date.

Inspiration for the album can be heard directly from the songs; Bieber, who has had a rather tumultuous relationship with the media as he grew up in the public eye, seems to have come to terms with his past self and embraced the new path he’s chosen to take.

He’s not shy about proclaiming his love for wife, Hailey Bieber, and chronicling the impact Christianity has had on his life.

It seems this time around, Bieber has crafted the perfect love letter to his past and seems just as eager to let fans in on the unique journey he’s been on for the last decade. The risk he’s taken has paid off — we absolutely love it!
