It’s been weeks since the K-Pop girl group TWICE met with their Filipino fans via a virtual fan meet, but PH ONCE (Filipino TWICE fans) still couldn’t get over the fun stuff from that special day.
For one, the girls made it a truly unforgettable event for their fans as they gamely took on the challenges and performed their songs from South Korea with enthusiasm. Plus, the nine-piece group vigorously interacted with their fans from 5 in the afternoon until 9 in the evening.
But that’s not just it. As soon as the “fun meet” organized by lifestyle and clothing brand Bench was over, the girls met with members of various media organizations for a quick catchup which revealed just how much they miss their Filipino fans.
The girls shared, among others, just how badly they want the pandemic to be over so they could finally go on tour and see their Filipino fans once again.
“It’s already been two years since we’ve had our concert in the Philippines. We really want the COVID to end soon so that we can do a concert tour and meet our Filipino ONCEs,” Chaeyoung said.
Having visited the Philippines in 2019 for a sold-out concert at the Mall of Asia Arena, the girls got the chance to meet their Filipino fans for the first time. But sadly, they didn’t get the chance to see the beauty of the Philippines.
So when the girls come to the Philippines in the future, they said they want to take a short break and visit one of these places and try out local delicacies in the country known for having picturesque tourist destinations and sumptuous food.
“When we get to visit the Philippines, we want to travel and eat some delicious local food,” Chaeyong added.
Momo reiterated Chaeyoung’s response and said she would also love to meet the newest members of the ever-growing PH ONCE fandom.
“We would like to try the delicious local Filipino foods. And also, we may have gotten new ONCE members, so we would like to meet our new ONCE in the Philippines,” she said.
TWICE is known for hits such as “FANCY,” “LIKEY,” “TT,” “YES OR YES,” and “MORE & MORE,” among others.
