Grammy award-winning and Oscar award-winning singer/actress Stefani Germanotta a.k.a. the legendary Lady Gaga skipped the usual glam the other day to show her 48.2 million followers a vision of natural, confident beauty.
In an Instagram post dated July 6, Gaga showed off a makeup-free, edit-free, and topless (!!!) video of herself. She wrote, “May your [heart] shine like the [sun].”
The “Born This Way” singer seemed to be sunbathing in her spacious Malibu backyard, with glowing skin and curly brown hair, enjoying all that summer has to offer.
Fans of Gaga took to the comments to express their love for her no-makeup, filter-free look.
“Beauty,” many users said. MTV simply commented, “Thank you,” while actress Bella Thorne left a couple of fire emojis.
Gaga has had a busy past few months this year; she’s been tending to her vegan and cruelty-free beauty brand, Haus Laboratories, which recently dropped the limited-edition Bad Kid Vault collection in celebration of the tenth anniversary of “Born This Way.”
For its second anniversary, the cosmetics company also released Gaga’s Glam Makeup Set for eager fans.
Earlier this year, the blossoming actress also flew to Italy to film the biographical crime film, House of Gucci, with powerhouse co-stars Adam Driver, Jared Leto, and Al Pacino. The film is set to be released on November 24 this year.
As if these projects weren’t enough, there’s also talk of a new remix album of Gaga’s most recent LP, Chromatica. Other pop makers like Charli XCX, Rina Sawayama, Dorian Electra, and more are reported to make features in the album.
Well, no matter the season, it seems like we’ll be blessed with more gorgeous Gaga content for the rest of 2021. Let’s hope she posts more selfies, glam or not!
