Nadine’s “wildest dreams” are coming true one after another!
Actress and pop star Nadine Lustre is gearing for her first solo concert titled “Absolute Madness,” which is set to go down this July 3. Her record label, Careless Music, broke the news on Tuesday via social media, describing the upcoming show as “a sonic and visual experience like no other.”
The virtual concert, which also serves as a first for Careless Music, will see the songstress perform tracks off of her debut album Wildest Dreams in a show that fuses elements of theater and live entertainment. It jumps back right where Nadine’s Wildest Dreams visual album ended, extending the pop star’s journey of self-discovery.
The show is directed by theater veteran Menchu Lauchengo-Yulo and shot by The Finest. Nadine’s fellow Careless Music talents James Reid, Massiah, and A-Team in a fantasy production which she conceptualized herself.
As reported by Rappler, Lauchengco-Yulo said that the concert is inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass where the stage transforms into a sort of fantastical sanctuary where “nature” is a refuge.
Homegrown live-streaming app Kumu, the concert’s official virtual host, teased a 20-second preview of the concert visuals, a day before the news went live.
Acclaimed photographer BJ Pascual also posted some sultry snaps of Nadine in preparation for her digital concert. The pop star, clad in a scanty see-through bodysuit and ringed by mirrors, posed with a dark and mysterious aura for Pascual’s thematic pictorial.
Tickets to “Absolute Madness” are now available via Kumu Live starting from P499 for general admission to P2,999 for VVIP admission, which will include pre- and post-concert “backstage” access and official concert merchandise.
In other news, it’s shaping up to be an eventful month for Nadine, as she also celebrated her single “Wildest Dreams” hitting one million streams on Spotify earlier this week.
