As No Rome gears up for the release of his highly-anticipated new album set to come out in December, the Filipino singer brings excitement to fans with a new song called “When She Comes Around.”
Sharing how the song came to be, he said: “I made this song after watching the Bjork live version of her album Vespertine and I wanted to make a song that was heavy on the strings but after days of working on it I eventually brought it to a more guitar-driven song.”
“I sent this song to BJ and he came back with something much more than I expected, with more textures and stronger bass sounds and just better structure really and we just went crazy on it,” he added.
Shot in Manila, the Paco Raterta-music video for No Rome’s new song makes for the perfect visuals to get fans even more excited for what’s coming in the next few weeks — one that goes back to his roots as a Filipino.

No Rome’s newest album — “It’s All Smiles” — proves to be special to him in so many ways. For one, the “Narcissist” hitmaker recorded the new track in his small apartment in Manila where he has been staying since his unexpected return due to the pandemic.
According to No Rome, he recorded his song at night in Manila because “its sound evokes the smeared wonder of a city passing by through a rain-flecked car windshield after dark.”
Set to drop on the 3rd of December, No Rome’s new album “It’s All Smiles” is co-produced by Rome himself with BJ Burton (Kanye West, Bon Iver, Charli XCX) and George Daniel (The 1975).
Born Guendoline Rome Viray Gomez, No Rome released numerous hits such as “Pink” and “Seventeen.”
