SB19 and Ben&Ben Collaborating Soon

Are you a huge fan of Ben&Ben or SB19 (or maybe even both of them)? Well, it looks like both Pinoy bands are collaborating soon. Yes, both groups announced the teaser of the project on social media with the caption “New Collaboration” and a poster with their logos on it and the date June 27.

This follows after Ben&Ben released a Korean version of their 2017 hit Leaves. Amid the pandemic, the band has released covers of K-POP hits, which is why they stepped up the ante of their Korean music. Plus, they released two singles this year — ‘Upuan’ and ‘Magpahinga.’

You probably already know who they are, but SB19 is a five-member Filipino boy band that consists of Josh, Pablo, Stell, Ken, and Justin. They recently released a premium collection with designer Chynna Mamawal. To add to this, SB19 released ‘MAPA’ in mid-May. The track — their second from their upcoming sophomore album — paid homage to the group members’ parents for their guidance and support, as per NME.com.

Ben&Ben, formerly known as The Benjamins, is a folk pop/pop rock band that includes of twin brothers Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin on acoustic guitars and vocals, Poch Barreto on electric guitar, Jam Villanueva on drums, Agnes Reoma on bass, Patricia Lasaten on keyboards, Toni Muñoz and Andrew de Pano on percussions, and Keifer Cabugao on violin.
So, are you excited about their new song together? Given the wide fan base of both groups, they will surely be a hit! It’s nice to see the local music scene still thriving and working together amid these trying times. They haven’t been able to hold live concerts for their fans recently, after all. For now, you can follow Ben&Ben and SB19 on Twitter.
