Are you ready for new music from Shawn Mendes?
After surprising us with his first Spanish-language single in July, the 23-year-old singer is releasing another song, this time in collaboration with Puerto Rican record producer Tainy entitled “Summer of Love.”
Shawn, who just celebrated his birthday last weekend, announced that his new single will already be out on August 20, 2021. He posted, “Some real [birthday] love! Thank you so much! Feeling extremely grateful for all of the people in my life today! Also, ‘Summer of Love’ next week.”
Prior to making the announcement about his upcoming single, Shawn has been dropping hints about his new song on Twitter and Instagram. One video he posted shows him playing the guitar while wearing a white “Summer of Love” hoodie, while another one shows him driving at sunset as an unfamiliar song plays in the background.
