Nadine’s Josie Rizal cosplay is on-point, and Tekken’s game director agrees 100%

Nadine Lustre isn’t a newbie when it comes to cosplaying, and especially not when comes to hearing our clamors of approval.

The actress-slash-recording artist, who just released her newest album “Wildest Dreams,” was seen wearing the superb get-up of Tekken 7’s Josie Rizal from photographer Andrei Suleik’s Instagram post.

From the red headwear down to the silken yellow slipover to the gilded warrior pads with sun structures, Nadine totally got the outfit on-point.

And Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken’s chief producer and game director, certainly agrees. He commented on Nadine’s cosplay with one concise word: “Perfect.”

Josie Rizal, who was introduced to the Tekken line-up last 2015, is named after (guess who?) the Philippines’ national hero, Jose Rizal. The character is depicted as an expert in kickboxing while also doubling as a model during the day.

We’re sensing a pattern here — if it rings any bell, Nadine was also revealed as the inspiration for the facial features of Marvel’s first Filipino superhero, Wave.

What can we say? Queen Nadine has that kick-ass character vibe, and no one’s yet to disagree.
