The Pinoy Henyo couple has an explanation about the viral video
The 2023 Valentine’s Day participants of “Eat Bulaga!” famous segment Pinoy Henyo, Lyka Alburo and Ryan Oraño, have apologized for mouthing the answers during the game. The couple earned the ire of netizens following accusations of cheating.
“Hindi ko po intensyon na sabihin yung word na stomach. Dala lang po ng emosyon at intense sa sarili kaya po ganon po ang nangyari,” Alburo says.
The spliced video of the said portion where she mouthed the answer immediately went viral after the episode. She was then called “Stomach Girl” by netizens.

In an interview for “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” that aired on February 26, 2023, Alburo and Oraño explain that they never really intended to cheat on the show. Rather, they were only overtaken by intense emotions which led to them accidentally mouthing the answers to each other on different occasions.
Pinoy Henyo couple ready to give up prize
Jeanette Alburo, Alburo’s mother, has also apologized on behalf of her daughter.
“Nabigla lang siya, nagkamali. Ako rin na ina ang humihingi ng tawad sa kanila kung nagkamali ang anak ko. Aaminin ko nagkamali siya, tao lang ‘yan,” she explains.
As the couple acknowledged their mistake, they have also come to terms that their actions might have consequences.
“Alam po namin yung pagkakamali namin kaya ready po kami na i-bear po lahat ng consequences sa lahat ng pagkakamali po na nagawa namin,” Oraño says regarding the prospect that the noontime show might forfeit their cash prize given the accusation.
Both Alburo and Oraño have shared that they have put their cash prize to good use. First, by sharing it with their respective families, and second, by saving the rest for their college tuition fees.
For what it’s worth, the incident has taught them a lesson, one that they have learned the hard way.
“Nalungkot po ako kasi may mga tao po talagang nangdya-judge sa amin. Nag-deactivate po kami ng [social media] account para hindi namin makita or marinig ang mga accusations po ng mga tao,” Oraño explains.
Alburo, meanwhile, has something to say to those who did not like what they did: “Sa mga bashers tumigil na po kayo, marami na pong naapektuhan,” she appeals.
