‘It must be nice’ for Ruel to come back after three months
After a successful mall show in McKinley Hill last February, Ruel will be coming back for more chill beats at Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premiere this May 26. It will be part of his “Ruel 4th Wall World Tour.”
Tickets will be available starting April 11 at 10 a.m. via SM Tickets outlets and website. Wilbros Live serves as the concert’s promoter.

Ruel is an Australian pop singer-songwriter known to create chill and jazzy beats.
Since his debut in 2017, he has been an influential artist garnering more than two billion streams on music and video platforms.
He also has five platinum records and is the youngest artist to snag the “Breakthrough Artist” at the Aria Awards.
Along with three sold-out world tours, Ruel has shared stages with Khalid and Shawn Mendes. He was even invited to Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Festival.
In terms of songwriting, he has collaborated with seasoned artists such as Denzel Curry, JVKE, Omar Apollo, and Cosmo’s Midnight.
4th Wall
Ruel’s new album, “4th Wall” was released globally on March 3. For him, it is the music that he wanted to write.
“It’s exactly the music I wanted to write… what I had in my head. It’s me executing my ideas, instead of trying to execute other people’s ideas in my way,” the Australian songwriter says about his album.
The album is executively produced by his long-time collaborators at M-Phazes namely Khalid, Noah Cyrus, and Remi Wolf.

For him, the new album’s concept leans originally to pop and R&B. Yet, when when the pandemic happened, it flowed naturally to his maturity—expanding his peripherals in songwriting.
“It took way longer than anticipated to get this record right. I spent the last 3 years writing it and wound up with over 100 songs. I rewrote half of them and re-recorded most of them… It’s been the biggest journey making this record…” he notes.
