SB19’s Stell Comments On Being Called “Panget” By Content Creator Stella Salle

Stell: “Ba’t ako masasaktan, ‘di naman totoo. Joke!”

SB19 member Stell Ajero airs thoughts on the face-shaming remarks made by content creator Stella Salle on Facebook.

Catching up with fans on June 1, 2024, the Pinoy pop idol assures his followers that Stella’s comment against his facial feature does not bother him at all. If any, he takes it as a sign of a thriving career.

I’m okay. Sobrang busy lang talaga. At saka, di naman ako nasaktan, to be honest.”

He adds, “Saka sabi nila, di ba? Boom, sikat! Hindi, joke lang. Saka ba’t ako masasaktan, di naman totoo. Joke!”

While many fans were offended by Stella’s unsolicited comment, Stell says he had no ill-feelings towards the content creator. However, he emphasizes that there’s always an option to be good than to be honest.

So, that’s different.

Stella’s remarks were aired on Facebook—referring to an album dedicated to Stell she captioned with, “Panget.”

As many fans called her out for the below-the-belt remarks, she fueled her tirades further with, “Pero totoo naman diba panget siya pero natatakot lang kayo magsalita!”

While Stella deleted her posts right after, she left another comment that reads, “Delete ko na nga oa niyo leche totoo naman sinasabi ko.”

Following Stella’s statements, her ambassadorship with cosmetics brand Colourette was terminated—with its Chief Executive Officer Nina Ellaine Dizon condemning bullying and upholding self-love and empowerment.

Stella Salle apologizes to SB19 Stell

With a forfeited contract with her endorsement and a massive online backlash, Stella felt the need to express her apologies to Stell  for her “disrespectful” and “inappropriate” posts.

At the latter part of the statement, Stella asked forgiveness for the supporters she disappointed. This comes with a promise that she will entirely accept the consequences of her actions and will make her content more proper. Ultimately, she asked for a second chance to improve herself.
