Are they getting back together?
On April 14, fans caught Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello kissing at Coachella, sparking rumors of a reconciliation between the former couple. Onlookers filmed the couple as they danced, held drinks, hugged, and shared a kiss, with no attempt to hide their affection.

Mendes donned a printed t-shirt, khaki pants, and a bandana tied around his neck, while Cabello wore a white corset top with short denim pants. The couple had dated for two years before announcing their breakup on Instagram in November 2021.
In a joint statement, they wrote back then, “We’ve decided to end our romantic relationship, but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”
They signed off with three red heart emojis and “Camila and Shawn.”
Rumors of the couple’s relationship began circulating in July 2019. They made their first public appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards that same year, performing their hit duet “Señorita.”
During the pandemic, the couple spent their quarantine time in Miami. Mendes shared in an interview, “Camila and I were so lucky because we were able to kind of be in a still moment. And it was the first time in the past six years that we’ve been just able to relax and not work at all. We were going on bike rides around Miami, and it felt really beautiful.”
Although the couple has not made any official statements on their relationship’s status, fans hope they may rekindle their romance. Some even hope they make new music together too.
