Bretman Rock is Now a Reality Star

Filipino-American influencer Bretman Rock has been a force du jour in the world of social media and beauty since his hilarious YouTube video ‘How to Contour’ became viral in 2015. Since then, he has become one of the most beloved Internet celebrities, known for his amazing makeup wizardry and hilarious antics.

With over 15 million followers on Instagram, 5.5 million followers on Twitter, and over 8 million YouTube subscribers, the mega-famous Hawaii-based star is definitely a force to be reckoned with. In February 2020, he even launched an affordable makeup line in partnership with WetnWild Beauty

Now, his fans will get to see him in a different light as he has announced via Instagram that he will be the star of an MTV digital television show called MTV Following: Bretman Rock. Set to debut on February 8 at 4 PM EST (which is February 9, 5 AM in Manila), the show will center on “exclusive” aspects of his life.

“My @mtv show is Finally here!! ✨🥺 I’ve been manifesting this since I was a child and we’re finally doing it guys !! I’m a reality star 🌈🤪 Check out @mtvfollowing for more info,” Rock shared.

According to Nylon Magazine, the show will focus on Rock as he balances a new business, the loss of his dad, being an Internet superstar, and his mom’s move. Fans will surely be in for a treat as Rock shared that even though his life is being shared with the world, he doesn’t intend for it to ever get boring.

“We can watch only so many reality shows filmed in L.A. It gets boring and repetitive. I don’t think anyone really knows what a content creator’s life is like when they’re away from all the L.A. bullsh*t and mainland stuff. I wanted to bring in more of who I really am and the business side of Bretman Rock onto the show,” he said.

Whether you’ve been a loyal follower for years or you’re curious to get to know him better, MTV Following: Bretman Rock will surely provide you some good ol’ entertainment as you stay at home amid the ongoing pandemic.
