Lizzo sure was feeling “Good as Hell” after reading Chris Evans‘ reply to her thirsty Instagram DM.
On Saturday, the “Juice” rapper posted a relatable TikTok video where she revealed her recent Instagram interaction with the Captain America star, with the caption-slash-counsel: “Don’t drink and DM, kids.”
In the clip, she shares how she tried to shoot her shot to Evans with just three emojis: the wind blowing emoji, the athlete emoji, and the basketball emoji.
A day later, the plot thickens as not only did Evans finally follow Lizzo back on Instagram, he also responded to Lizzo’s flirtatious “drunk DM.” The Grammy winner shared the exchange in another TikTok video while simultaneously freaking out and lip-syncing to audio from TikTok star Tatayanna Mitchell.
“No shame in a drunk DM. God knows I’ve done worse on this app lol,” Evans wrote, adding a kissy face emoji in the mix. Great job to Chris for talking about his nude photo leak from last year in stride.
This may be Lizzo’s first drunken confession to Chris, but who said she can’t say it sober? In 2019, the “Knives Out” star also had a brief interaction with her on Twitter, retweeting Lizzo’s video of a child dancing to her song, “Juice.” That’s when she dropped her casual proposal: “Wow marry me.”
And if anyone’s curious, yes, both of them are single. Lizzo has even clarified on Instagram that she is, in fact, happily independent after being caught hanging out with a mystery man last March. Likewise, Evans has also commented on his being a bachelor and why he prefers to stay that way.
