Cole Sprouse Launches New Photography Website

Riverdale star Cole Sprouse launched a new personal photography website not just to feature his art, but also to raise funds to support two environmental groups.

“It’s been far too many years, but I’ve finally taken the plunge to launch my personal photography website,” he posted on Instagram.

“I want to extend my thanks to everyone (you guys) who have supported my photography over the last decade and so I have some exciting news. Both an online gallery and print space, I’ll finally be selling a small curated selection of prints on the site available for purchase and shipping around the world!”

Cole’s new website features a moving image; his fashion, reportage, and landscape photography; and the “Fallen Tree.” A printed copy of the latter, together with a certificate of authenticity, facsimile of Cole’s signature, and a unique identification number, is available for purchase on the website. Priced at $100 each, the “Fallen Tree” print is a limited edition with only 5000 copies available.

“While it’s wonderful to simply see your own work in physical print, it’s even more fulfilling to have those prints become a conduit for change in global issues I feel strongly about,” he told ELLE.com.

According to his website, proceeds from the “Fallen Tree” print will be given to Nature-Based Solutions Foundation and Endangered Ecosystems Alliance “to help protect old-growth forests and endangered ecosystems in British Columbia.”

“I have, and always will, take my primary inspiration from the landscape. Whether it’s a tranquil, lonely desert or an imposing sharp mountain range, I felt it was time to try and assist a global environment that has assisted the many different photographic arenas I’ve tackled over the years,” he said.
