No Time to Die, set to be the longest James Bond film ever, will also be Craig’s swan song as 007.

James Bond star Daniel Craig couldn’t help but shed a tear while delivering a speech on the set of No Time to Die, the actor’s final 007 film.

In a clip taken from the Apple TV+ documentary Being James Bond, Craig gives a heartfelt commendation to the crew members of the upcoming Bond movie and tells them how he loved playing the 007 role every single time.”

“A lot of people here worked on five pictures with me, and I know that there’s a lot of things said about what I think about these films, or all of those whatever,” said the tearful Craig. “But I’ve loved every single second of these movies, and especially this one, because I’ve got up every morning and I’ve had the chance to work with you guys, and that has been one of the greatest honors of my life.”

Craig crashed through the glass ceiling of the movie industry when he took over the 007 mantle in 2006’s Casino Royale. He would follow his performance with three more Bond flicks, namely 2008’s Quantum of Solace, 2012’s Skyfall, and 2015’s Spectre

No Time to Die, his fifth and final outing as the superspy and the 25th Bond film overall, stands to be the most pivotal in Craig’s career — and the longest too, posting a 163-minute runtime post-editing.

Despite several delays due to the pandemic, No Time to Die will finally hit theaters this October 8. The film was originally scheduled to come out as early as November 20, 2019, then got pushed back to April 2, 2020.
