While most of the celebrities revealed their new romance in public, it seems like netizens are keeping an eye on Julia Barretto.
The actress shared a photo of her with a new pet dog on Instagram but eagle-eyed fans noticed the arms of a man beside her and speculated that it must be Gerald Anderson.
While her post made netizens abuzz, the two kept mum and Barretto did not reveal who was the man beside her inside the car.
Anderson and Barretto first worked together in the 2019 film Between Maybes and soon after, the two were romantically linked. At the time, Anderson was still in a relationship with actress Bea Alonzo while Barretto just got out of a relationship with actor Joshua Garcia.
At the time, their rumored romance made headlines but neither Anderson nor Barretto confirmed the relationship.
But in 2020, Barretto admitted that she is in love but chose not to reveal more details about her love life.
