“A Walk to Remember” and “This Is Us” star Mandy Moore has welcomed a baby boy with her husband Taylor Goldsmith! Mandy announced the arrival of baby August Harrison Goldsmith, nicknamed Gus, in February 2021.

The couple’s chosen name for their child, “August,” holds a lot of significance for their family.
Mandy found out that they were expecting a baby boy last August, which also happens to be Taylor’s birth month. While the first and last letters of the word, “A” and “T,” match Mandy (Amanda) and Taylor’s first names.
“For our anniversary in November, T gifted me with this blanket with the ‘A’ (for Amanda) made from extra material from my wedding dress and ‘T’ (for Taylor) from his wedding shirt. Felt like a very fitting amalgamation of our whole story. I can’t wait to pass this on to our sweet August one day,” Mandy said.
Mandy also shared that welcoming “punctual” Gus into their lives is incomparable to their expectations.
“We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined.”
She’s also been loving her new role as a mother, saying that she’s had the best week ever with Gus. Aww!
