Judy Ann and Ryan Agoncillo Share why They Chose to Vaccinate Their Children

Judy Ann Santos has something to say to the anti-vaxxers.

Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo happily shared with their followers that their six-year-old daughter Luna and 11-year-old son Lucho were able to get their COVID-19 vaccines.

The seasoned actress documented the moment and shared their experience when they went to get the jab.

“Finally!! Our little ones got their first dose of Pfizer vaccine today! The waiting time is very forgivable bilang drive thru vaccine, the kids are not exposed to a lot of people… plus the effort that DOH put and the team of doctors headed by dr. @ayenuguid and dr. @romeonuguidmd, with them are more than 50 nurses and doctors facilitating the vaccination,” she wrote.

The Department of Health (DOH) and the medical frontliners made the whole experience entertaining and less intimidating for minors by decorating the vaccine site and bringing in some mascots.

Santos shared that there were characters from the Disney movie “Frozen” and even Cocomelon. She was so elated that she also decided to get a booster.

“There are cocomelon mascots, anna and elsa, cheering the kids during the jab. Kaya nagpa booster shot na rin ako! May libre pang balloons! Hats off to all the frontliners for doing this,” she said.

While most of their fellow celebrities and fans praised them for their decision to vaccinate their children, some were still skeptical about the minors getting jabs for COVID-19.

She then addressed the issue and posted her thoughts on her Instagram Story.

“Just wanted to share to everyone our experience this morning, when we had our little ones vaccinated. We respect every parent’s opinion and we all want what’s best for our children lalo na sa pinagdadaanan nating lahat ngayon (especially with what we’re going through right now).

“We did our research and we trust our family doctor. If this is the first step to give our kids a little bit of normalcy (while still doing the proper safety protocols, even after they get the second dose) and just to be sure na may panlaban ang mga anak namin sa COVID, all in kami,” she said.

(Just to be sure that our children have enough protection against COVID-19, we’re all in.)
