Even after strutting the pageant stage and bringing home the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Tourism title, Katrina Dimaranan continues to stun fans with her commanding catwalk. She has even earned the nod of a rare spectator: Cardi B!
In a tweet on Saturday, the pageant veteran posted a short video showing off her pasarela in a ravishing red dress as Cardi B’s “I Like It” blasted in the background.
“Knock me down 9 times but I get up 10,” Katrina wrote in the caption, followed by the fire emojis.
The next day, Katrina got a welcome surprise in the form of the “WAP” rapper retweeting her runway walk — and on her personal account that has 19.3 million followers, no less! Understandably, Katrina couldn’t help but gush out over the good news on social media.
“BRB, crying,” she wrote in an Instagram story.
On Twitter, she also went into fangirl mode by telling Cardi that they share the same laugh.
As of writing, her original sashay clip now has over 400 retweets and 5,600 likes.
Katrina represented Taguig in the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant, where she finished as the first runner-up and was hailed Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Tourism. She has also won second during the Miss Supranational in 2018.
