Big plans are in for the rockstar couple, who’ve just gotten engaged!
Reality star Kourtney Kardashian announced her engagement to Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker via Instagram early this week. She posted a photo of herself and her soon-to-be husband in the middle of hundreds of roses shaped in a heart, with the caption: “Forever @travisbarker.”
The pair were staying at Rosewood Miramar Hotel in Montecito, California over the weekend, where Barker popped the question at sunset. Sister Khloé Kardashian and NBA player Tristan Thompson were also said to be present.
Insiders shared with E! News that the proposal was nothing short of magical. “Kourtney looked very surprised to see Khloe and Tristan there,” an insider said. “Travis escorted Kourtney down to the beach, where he had red and white florals set up in the shape of a heart. It looked very romantic. I could see Kourtney smiling from ear to ear and put her hand over her mouth looking surprised. The family cheered for them and went back into the hotel.”
Kardashian, 42, and Barker, 45, have sparked dating rumors as early as December 2020, before making their relationship IG official in February 2021. In the months leading up to their engagement, the famous couple have packed on the PDA and showed off their dreamy vacations from the beaches of Mexico to the high-rise hotels of Las Vegas.
Their respective families have also shared their encouragement and public support for the relationship; Barker’s two kids have often been seen hanging with the eldest Kardashian sister, while Kardashian’s younger children have been storied spending time with Barker.
The engagement is Kardashian’s first, despite being in a long-term, on-again, off-again relationship with co-parent Scott Disick. The two share three kids together — Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6.
On the other hand, Barker has been married twice. He shares Landon Asher, 18, and Alabama Luella, 15, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
