Who’s that girl?
Megan Fox, known for her jet black locks and piercing blue eyes, looked almost unrecognizable in a new selfie she posted to Instagram last Friday. In the photo, the former Transformers star can be seen looking straight at the camera with shocking silver hair. “This is what the devil’s daughter looks like. #JohnnyAndClyde. Coming Spring 2022,” she captioned the photo.
The new look comes ahead of the upcoming thriller film Johnny and Clyde, where Fox will play a crime boss named Alana Hart. Johnny and Clyde will revolve around two serial killers/lovers who plan to rob a casino headed by Fox’s character and guarded by a demonic slayer that she controls.
Tom DeNucci recently told Bloody Disgusting that Fox’s role is “very dark.”
“I don’t want to give away too much, but visually we wanted her to almost be like a Disney princess, but a messed up, very dark, twisted version of that,” he said. “Her look is just incredible…this kind of almost evil princess character.”
“I think horror fans can look forward to a Megan Fox that nobody has ever seen before. I’m not gonna say anything, but there’s something very different about her characteristically, in her appearance, that she’s never attempted to put out there before,” he added. “She bought into this philosophy, all this preparation that we’ve been doing, she really bought into it. It was a pleasure to work with Megan, and we can’t wait to showcase this character that she brought to the table.”
Other stars for the film include Preacher‘s Tyson Ritter (also of All-American Rejects fame), Bail Ling, and Vanessa Angel. Verdi Productions also produced the film.
Chad A. Verdi, of Verdi Productions, shared that he was “very excited” for Megan to play the role of Alana. “She’s a brilliant actress who will bring this character to life like no one else could.” He continued, “I love Tyson’s energy and can’t wait for him and Megan to go head-to-head.”
