A new batch of Miss Universe Ph contestants will be named soon.
The Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) Organization announced that screening for aspiring beauty pageant contestants will already begin next month, while the coronation night will happen in April 2022.
“Another year, another set of queens! The most prestigious pageant in the country will start its screening in February 2022. Get your profiles and papers ready, aspiring queens,” the MUP Organization posted.
“We’re brewing something phenomenal. Miss Universe PH 2022, this coming April. Stay tuned!”
Last year, Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City represented the Philippines in the 70th edition of the Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel, after winning the highly coveted local title in September 2021.
Her Top 5 finish in the international pageant continued the unique winning streak of the Philippines in Miss Universe, which has already reached 12 years.
