Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams
You’d be surprised to find out that The Notebook isn’t all what it’s chalked up to be. While Gosling and McAdams did date for about two years after filming the classic romance film, it turns out that they weren’t exactly that fond of each other when they first met. The film’s director recalled the actor once asking for a different actress to replace McAdams, saying that he wasn’t “getting anything” from the experience. Past is past, however, as Gosling partnered up with actress Eva Longoria in 2011 after their film, The Place Beyond the Pines, and has been with her and their two daughters since. McAdams is also living happily with her partner and son.
Brangelina
The power couple of all power couples, Brangelina shacked up after their 2005 film Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Six kids and one divorce later, the pair is reportedly not on the best terms as both have been fighting a long and messy battle for custody over their children. As of June 2021, Pitt has been faced with claims of domestic violence, while Jolie has maintained that the former should not be awarded joint custody.
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan
Before he was Magic Mike, Channing Tatum was a street dancer in the hit 2006 film, Step Up. There, he met his wife-to-be, Jenna Dewan. The two dated for three years and married in 2009. Sadly, the marriage didn’t last and they divorced in 2019. Tatum has since moved on with English pop star Jessie J but soon broke up, while Dewan went on to marry and have a child with actor Steve Kazee. Don’t worry, not all is lost – they still co-parent their 7-year old daughter, Everly.
Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar
The Scooby-Doo ending we all love to see, the relationship between Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar is nothing but the best. The two first met in 1997 on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer. Though, they only started to date in 2000, and eventually married in 2002. You might’ve caught them on the live-action Scooby-Doo series as Fred and Daphne. Nowadays, the couple lives a happy life together with their two children.
Zendaya and Tom Holland?
The newest on-screen romance-turned-reality, the Zendaya and Tom Holland (MJ and Peter Parker from Spider-Man: Homecoming, respectively) ship has officially sailed as they were recently pictured sharing a kiss just last week after years of dating rumors. They now join the two other Spidey couples (Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield) who have dated after the famous superhero films.
