South Korean pop stars Kang Daniel and Park Jihyo of the all-girl group TWICE separated after dating for over a year.
Korean tabloid Dispatch first reported about their break up early Tuesday, according to Soompi. JYP Entertainment, which is Park’s agency, confirmed the news later.
“It is true that they broke up recently,” a source from JYP said, as reported by Ilgan Sports Plus.
Kang’s agency has yet to respond.

Kang and Park admitted their relationship in public last August 2019.
Kang rose to fame after starring in the reality show “Producer 101” and eventually became a member of the group “Wanna One”. He eventually started his own career and released an EP titled ‘Color on Me’ which marked his debut. He recently dropped a new album titled ‘Magenta.’

On the other hand, Park debuted as one of the members of TWICE in 2015. Their comeback album ‘Eyes Wide Open’ received rave reviews and topped in charts.
