Vlogger duo JaMill deletes YouTube channel with 12M followers

Despite the couple’s explanation, social media users still aren’t buying why they took it down.

As of Thursday, the YouTube account of Camille Trinidad and Jayzam Manabat, better known online as JaMill, is now removed from the site as the popular pair shifts their focus onto their relationship.

Trinidad shared the news through a series of tweets on Thursday, saying that “JaMill is now signing off” but that their relationship is “infinite.” She also thanked YouTube for everything. The site stood host to their vlogging channel since 2012, a period that saw them amass more than 12 million followers.

She also explained that they pulled the plug for the sake of their relationship and hoped that people would respect their call and refrain from making an issue out of it. It was last April when personal problems bled into their relationship. This led to the lovers showing up in an episode of Raffy Tulfo in Action to resolve the issue.

The pair also posted a video on their official Facebook page to clarify that their page has indeed been scrubbed off the site and to thank all their fans. Manabat also aired his desire for them to live a “normal” and “simple life” together in private.

Despite the couple’s reason for deleting their channel, some fans still speculate whether the move is just a marketing stunt. Others saw it as a well-timed decision considering the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s recent announcement that social media influencers have not been paying their taxes despite steep profits across their digital presences.
