After praying for the same thing for the past 10 years, Alice Dixson’s wish finally came true: at 51 years old, she finally gives birth to her first child.
Dixson broke the news on her Instagram, where she posted a photo of herself holding up a document showing the baby’s first set of footprints.
“Despite the unexpected trials this year, God gave us a little miracle,” Dixson shared in the photo’s caption.
“For those of you who really know me — you’ve known that I’ve been praying for this every year on my birthday for 10 years now. Each year — my wish [stayed] the same when I blew out my candles,” she added. “So with great patience, belief, and trust — I am happy to announce my wish has finally come true.”
It was back in 2019 during an interview n ANC’s “Headstart” when Dixson disclosed that she had tried to get pregnant several times to no avail, leading her and her non-showbiz partner to try their hand at surrogacy.
“Sa akin it was never about the way I would look after. It was about my age and my concern about the safety of the child, the wellness of the pregnancy,” the actress shared per ABS-CBN.
Regarding her newborn’s father, Dixson has consciously tried to conceal his partner’s identity. What’s known so far is that back in 2017, she revealed to Boy Abunda that they have been together then for four years already. Then, in 2018, she posted about going to her first ABS-CBN Ball with someone whose initials are “GS” and whom she described as “tall, charming, and witty man in a tux.”
She was previously married to Ronnie Miranda for 13 years before their divorce was finalized in in 2013.
In recent months, Dixson has gone into a “lock-in taping” for GMA’s upcoming drama series, “Legal Wives.” She was last seen on the big screen playing Elaisa in the film Nuuk alongside Aga Muhlach.
