Sofia Andres Reflects On How Motherhood Changed Her

Being a mother has helped Sofia Andres “become a better person.”

During a virtual press conference for the upcoming teleseryeLa Vida Lena,” Sofia was asked about the things that changed in her life ever since she became a mom to her one-year-old daughter, Zoe

The 22-year-old actress also said that she’s become more caring not just to her child, but to others as well. “Lumaki yung pag-unawa, mas lumaki yung puso. Parang iba kapag nanay na eh,” she said.

“Nandun ‘yung alaga sa anak, hindi lang sa anak, [pati] sa ibang tao. Masyadong motherly ang thinking.”

On Father’s Day in 2020, Sofia announced that she welcomed her first child with her partner Daniel Miranda seven months ago. She gave birth to Zoe in Sydney, Australia on November 24, 2019.

“When she came out, I cried because I couldn’t believe this baby was inside me the whole time. Wow! Para akong nasa cloud nine,” she shared in an interview with Metro Magazine.

Sofia’s role as Rachel Suarez in “La Vida Lena” marks her television comeback after taking a break since 2019. The first season of the teleserye premiered on iWantTFC in November 2020, while the full teleserye will start showing on free TV (A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and TV5) starting June 28, 2021.
