The “True Philippine Ghost Stories” series are now e-books, so we can be afraid as adults

Remember those days in high school when we’d borrow True Philippine Ghost Stories books so we can scare ourselves after school?

If you can’t, then don’t worry, as those days are coming back to haunt us — literally and figuratively. A Facebook post, which has recently gone viral (thanks to nostalgic 90s kids), has revealed that the first 10 volumes of the True Philippine Ghost Stories title are available online, and have been for a quite while now.

Not only did this post dug up scary stories of headless priests, doppelgängers, and possessed students, it only revealed another thing: that once-forgotten titles can be accessed through PSICOM’s official mobile app. They also run the occasional book giveaways and give out vouchers that readers can use on PSICOM’s Shopee or Lazada stores. If only we’d known about this at the start of the quarantine, we’d probably scared ourselves ahead of the pack.

Fun fact: the True Philippine Ghost Stories series is on its 37th issue at the latest, in case you were wondering.
