Coco Martin-Julia Montes, “Voltes V: Legacy” Cast Lead Kapamilya and Kapuso Stars Present At “Unbreak My Heart” Celebrity Screening

“Unbreak My Heart” celebrity screening becomes a gathering for ABS-CBN and GMA-7 stars!

The big stars of ABS-CBN and GMA-7 are in full support of the two rival networks’ first collaboration, “Unbreak My Heart.”

All of the brightest talents of each network’s talent management arms, as well as their exclusive artists, are in attendance during the Unbreak My Heart celebrity screening on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at TriNoma Cinema 7.

Of course, leading the pack are its cast members: ABS-CBN stars Jodi Sta. Maria and Joshua Garcia and GMA-7 artists Gabbi Garcia and Richard Yap.

ABS-CBN, GMA-7 primetime stars unite

The stars of ABS-CBN and GMA-7’s biggest primetime shows are seen in one event for the first time.

“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” lead star Coco Martin walked the red carpet with his rumored girlfriend, Julia Montes.

“Voltes V: Legacy” lead stars Radson Flores, Ysabel Ortega, and Matt Lozano attended the event.

They were also photographed with Star Magic banner artists Kyle Echarri, Darren Espanto, Charlie Dizon, and Andrea Brillantes.

The love team of KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad, who will be seen soon in “Pira-pirasong Paraiso,” walked the red carpet together.

Sparkle banner stars Alden Richards and Sanya Lopez also show support for the big collaboration of ABS-CBN and GMA-7.

Alden was once part of a Kapamilya-Kapuso collaboration after doing the Star Cinema movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye” with Kathryn Bernardo.

“Hearts On Ice” lead actress Ash Ortega is with her co-star, Shuvee Etrata.

Stars of Dreamscape Entertainment shows are also in attendance: Angel Aquino and John Arcilla of “Dirty Linen,” Jake Ejercito of “Linlang,” and Cherry Pie Pichache and John Estrada of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”

Dreamscape Entertainment is the ABS-CBN drama unit helming the production of “Unbreak My Heart.”

“Unbreak My Heart” supporting stars are also present during the premiere: Nikki Valdez, Eula Valdes, Sunshine Cruz, Laurice Guillen, Victor Neri, Romnick Sarmenta, Mark Rivera, PJ Endrinal, and Jeremiah Lisbo.

Kapamilya Bianca de Vera and Kapuso Will Ashley are paired in “Unbreak My Heart.”

ABS-CBN, GMA-7 executives laud partnership

The executives of ABS-CBN and GMA-7 made sure to witness this unexpected milestone in the world of television.

During the screening, ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak said in his speech that the network has embraced its new era of being a content provider in partnerships.

He says, “You know when ABS-CBN lost its franchise, it was like the end of the world for us. It was actually one of the most painful experiences we’ve been through, but that loss also taught us to become a better company, a humbler company, and instead of doing everything on our own, it made us learn to embrace partnerships in our journey as storytellers. There’s no better proof of that than this wonderful partnership that we have with GMA.”

Meanwhile, GMA Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes expressed how they respected ABS-CBN as a “superb content provider.”

She states, “I’m really overwhelmed with emotions to see everyone of you here tonight. It’s such a historic occasion and your presence makes this even more memorable. As I’ve said previously, we’ve always respected you as a superb content provider and with this project, you’ve proven again your excellence. We’re very happy to be your partner in this project.”

“Unbreak My Heart” is the first collaboration of GMA-7, ABS-CBN Entertainment, and Viu. The series will premiere on May 29, 2023 on GMA-7’s third primetime slot with an advanced screening on Viu.
