The new vegan donut flavors include classic favorites like Chocolate Cookie, French Vanilla, and Peanut Butter and Jelly; fruity flavors like Strawberry Swirl, Banana Pudding, Mango Passion, and Coconut Island; and cute, bright-colored donuts like Vanilla Bee, MR Happy, and donuts with edible googly eyes that will remind you of Cookie Monster from Sesame Street!
For now, the donuts are only available for delivery purchases through the Dunkin’ Belgium and Netherlands websites. But by the middle of May, the donuts will also already be available for in-store transactions. They are available in boxes of 4 (EUR 11.80), 6 (EUR 15), 12 (EUR 28.50), 18 (EUR 49.10), and 24 (EUR 54).
This range of plant-based donuts will also be expanding to other locations in Europe, such as the United Kingdom by mid-May.
These donuts are not the first plant-based options introduced by Dunkin’ to their menu. In 2019, Dunkin’ in the USA launched the vegan Beyond Breakfast Sausage Sandwich, which was made in partnership with Los Angeles-based company Beyond Meat. The plant-based sausage patty was made with mung bean, rice, pea, and sunflower seed protein.
“Dunkin’ has always stood apart for offering new and exciting choices to meet the needs of our on-the-go guests, and we are proud to collaborate with this industry leader to become the first United States restaurant chain to serve a Beyond Breakfast Sausage option,” Dunkin’ CEO David Hoffmann said.
Hooray for more vegan food options! What vegan Dunkin’ product would you like to have here in the Philippines?
