Grab Highlights Small Businesses Through ‘Indie Eats’

Grab makes it easier to discover and support small merchants on its platform.

Small businesses are all the rage right now. Whatever they’re selling, the grind never stops for local entrepreneurs pushing their wares. If you’re one of them, the Grab super-app now has ‘Indie Eats,’ a feature made especially for you!

Wander into the undiscovered Grab turns the spotlight to small businesses brings them closer to Filipinos through Indie Eats

It’s a program aimed at helping merchant-partners amplify their presence. It directs users to small businesses whose offerings are on par with five-star restos.

To get those users hooked, Grab tapped influencers Erwan Heussaff and Sassa Gurl. They did a mukbang video where they tried items from local shops.

“We at Grab are ready to support our merchant-partners to ensure their success on our platform. Indie Eats is one of the many ways we’re helping more Filipinos discover them. We want them to succeed,” says Martin Luchangco, Head of Merchants and Partnerships at Grab.
