Earn more Starbucks Rewards points when you order via Grab!
Coffee giant Starbucks recently partnered with Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading super-app. This partnership aims to provide a seamless Starbucks Experience for every customer, which means more perks for those who need their daily dose of caffeine.
Starbucks customers can now earn rewards points on purchases made through Grab. They also have more payment options, and they’ll be able to enjoy convenient and customized services.
Points, points, points
Starbucks Rewards members can now link their accounts with GrabRewards to earn points and stars for every order made through GrabFood, a first for Starbucks in Southeast Asia.
By the second half of 2022, Starbucks will allow customers to sign up for a Starbucks Rewards membership via the Grab app and redeem complimentary beverages and exclusive offers. They also plan to expand this feature to additional markets by 2024.
Sharing is caring
In 2016, Starbucks partners (employees) spearheaded a food drive called Starbucks’ FoodShare. This movement allowed stores to donate unsold food to people facing hunger in communities across Canada and the United States.
The program has also been launched in the Philippines this month. Participating Starbucks stores can connect with Grab drivers to pick up food donations daily and deliver them to local non-profits like the Philippine Food Bank Foundation.
Seamless delivery and payment options
Skip the line with GrabFood’s self-pick-up feature. You can also have them delivered to your doorsteps via GrabExpress or GrabFood when you order via Starbucks-owned sites.
Customers can now pay for their orders via GrabPay in-app and in-store. That way, you can earn Starbucks Rewards Stars as well as GrabRewards.
If you’re feeling thoughtful, you can buy and send pre-loaded Starbucks gift cards to friends and family via the Grab app in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
