Event goers likewise enjoyed a Cebu-exclusive Johnnie Walker highball bar drink
Homegrown Cebu acts and exclusively crafted highballs take partying and performance at the Johnnie Walker Johnnie Highball Bar in Cebu to the next level.
The event which was enjoyed by Cebuanos and tourists alike started on February 24 and is running until March 26, 2023 from 5PM to 12MN at the Asmara Urban Resort & Lifestyle Village in Cebu City.
Among the highlights of the five weekends of the Johnnie Highball Bar are the live musical performances and DJ sets from bands and singers from Cebu and Manila as well as the exciting activities, arcade games, and limited edition merch.
For its last Saturday in Cebu this March 25, 2023, guests can enjoy performances from new wave and indie pop group, The Sundown, as well as DJ sets by Victor Jao and Renzo Senining.
To make this possible, Johnnie Walker has teamed up with We Are Your Friends, a local group of DJs hailing from Cebu to spin their tracks at the bar.

After successfully taking on BGC and Alabang last year, Johnnie Walker headed to the Queen City of the South to introduce the different ways people can enjoy Johnnie Walker.
Through the brand’s signature highballs, the Johnnie Walker team has crafted a Cebu-exclusive specialty cocktail which the guests enjoyed at the event.
Blended to suit every type of flavor preference, the Johnnie & Mango combines the smoky flavor of Johnnie Walker Black Label with the sweetness of fresh mangoes. The vibrant highball is garnished with dried mango and fresh lemongrass, creating a distinct multi-sensorial experience for the senses with every sip.
Another drink that stole the show is the smooth and creamy texture of Johnnie Walker Black Label with the Johnnie & Lime. Best described as a crisp summer highball that adds a citrus kiss to the boldness of whisky, it can easily be called the perfect Summer drink that one can also enjoy at home.
Finally, if you’re a fan of the famous Lemon Sour, then Johnny Walker gave it their own twist. The Guava Sour offered up a creative twist on the traditional whisky sour with the introduction of guava juice into its mix.
Needless to say, there was also a drink for those looking for something bolder and smokier–the traditional whisky neat or on the rocks.
What went perfectly well with these new and signature crafted drinks were the exclusive bar chows developed by Asmara for the event.
