Another Filipino twist on a favorite frozen dessert!

What a time to be alive! Just days after getting graced with strawberry cheese pies, choco hazelnut sundaes, and adobo-flavored friesour sweet teeth get spoiled once again thanks to McDonald’s new festive Filipino flavors for their soft-served desserts: the Ube Pastillas and Brazo sundaes and frappes, and they arrived just in time for the forthcoming holiday season too!

For all the ube lovers out there, the Ube Pastillas sundae (P38) is the perfect way to cap off your meal. The treat takes McDonald’s signature soft-serve and drizzles it with a deep-purple yam sauce that doesn’t scrimp on the sweetness, so make sure to mix it well!

If you’re more a believer of the brazo goodness, then the Brazo sundae is better suited to your taste buds. Since the soft-serve already has a sweet flavor on its own, the custard taste is toned down, almost resembling your typical condensed milk — which works well if you don’t want to feel umay too soon.

If you don’t have the time to sit down and savor the varying tastes (like we did), you can get these new offerings as drinks.

Head on to the store’s McCafé and sample their Ube Pastillas or Brazo frappes (P159/medium, P170/large), which are perfect pick-me-ups during these warm days we’ve been having recently. Or if you’re looking for a midday kick, try the Brazo flavor’s coffee spin-offs: the McCafé’s Iced Coffee Brazo (P59), Iced Coffee Milky with Brazo (P69), or the Iced Coffee Sweet Black with Brazo (P59).

Choose wisely, because these Filipino flavors are only available for a limited time only! You can sample these treats via dine-in, take-out, drive-thru, or have them delivered via McDelivery, Foodpanda, or GrabFood.
