Our favorite wings joints joined forces to remind us that #WeWingAsOne

We’ve heard of Burger King UK pleading to customers to support McDonald’s, and we’ve seen the “Ingat Angat Tayong Lahat” campaign that united long-time competitors Jollibee and McDonalds.

Now, the biggest and most beloved wings joints in the Philippines are also casting their differences aside to enjoin their customers to do the same.

It’s no secret that, as the pandemic continues to suffocate the economy, many food businesses have been forced to shutter. That’s why Frankie’s New York Buffalo WingsChickingsBlake’s Wings and SteaksBuffalo’s Wings and Things, and Wingman — all homegrown food and beverage brands — united for a moment to thank their faithful customers for helping them stay afloat through this crisis.

The encouraging message ended with a witty yet hopeful hashtag: “WeWingAsOne.”

A savory and sought-after finger food, buffalo wings became a popular choice sometime around 2016, when most of these local joints also started making a name. Now, it has transcended food trends and has become a staple choice for Filipino foodies who want a quick and delicious bite.

If you haven’t tried these diners yet, let us show you what you’re missing:

Great, now we’re more motivated to have that salted egg-flavored wings delivered.

Is your favorite wings place part of this unity?
