This place is a fandom favorite for cup sleeve events and more!
Fandom culture is all-consuming, with a whole lot of highs and lows. It’s great when an actor, a book, a musician, a show, or the like unites people from all walks of life. Smile To Go in Araneta City understands the magic of fandom all too well. The hardworking Sy sisters run the franchise. Jen, the younger of the two, is part of several fandoms, such as the BTS ARMY.
They’ve hosted fandom events for several local and international acts: Alexa Ilacad, ASTRO, BTS, SB19, and so much more. They recently hosted a “maid cafe”-type affair for a Genshin Impact PH community!
More than milk tea
Smile To Go has many milk tea options. Aside from the classic pearl milk tea, they also have cream cheese, grass jelly, and pudding milk tea. They also serve warm beverages. Some examples include honey lemon (with crystal jelly) and lemon calamansi burst.
Food-wise, they offer both “bites” and rice meals. Their snack options include Korean corndogs, chicken nuggets, chips, and fries. For pasta, they have baked macaroni and lasagna. Want rice meals? Worry not: they’ve also got pork balls, dumplings, and other viands.
Smile to Go is a safe space
A K-Pop art installation of sorts greets people as they walk inside. The interior is decorated with different kinds of merchandise and the like. There are even stickers, keychains, and things for sale! It’s a perfect space for fandoms. Here, they can celebrate their idols and bond!
Smile To Go in Araneta City is on the ground floor of Manhattan Plaza Tower 1 in Cubao, Quezon City. Their food and drinks are also available on foodpanda and Grab. For inquiries, contact them on Facebook or Instagram.
