Although it sounds like a dream come true for people with a sweet tooth, this limited-edition flavor is sadly not for sale. Only those who are part of the “Pepper Perks” rewards program could get their hands on a can of Dr Pepper FANtastic Chocolate.
To get a chance to try this new flavor from Dr Pepper, customers must create a “Pepper Perks” account, earn points, and use these points to claim their can of Dr Pepper FANtastic Chocolate. The sign-up form could be accessed by scanning the proof of purchase QR code on previous Dr Pepper purchases. Points earned in the new rewards program could also be used to get a chance to win Dr Pepper merchandise or ​​a trip to the College Football Playoff National Championship.
Aside from the chocolate-flavored soda, Dr Pepper also introduced its Zero Sugar variant this year. The new sugar-free drink is available in three different flavors: Original, Cherry, and Cream Soda.
