Chicken empanada fans, there’s a new version of your favorite savory pastry in town! Filipino fast food chain Mang Inasal has added a new item to their menu that’s great to pair with their palabok, halo-halo, and chicken inasal.

This Pinoy-favorite merienda food is a delicious pastry with savory filling that includes chunky chicken, potatoes, and raisins. You can get them per piece, or in packs of three or six. Mang Inasal also offers Empanada Combo meals so you can enjoy this snack with palabok or halo-halo.
Each piece of Mang Inasal’s chicken empanada costs PHP 49, but may vary depending on the store. They are available in Metro Manila and select provincial branches for both take-out and delivery transactions.
