Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile announces in-game multiplayer mode for the first time ever

The game mode is intended to help players grind their guns and camos for battle royale.

The upcoming “Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile” has been hyping up players from around the world. Fans expect the game to be 1:1 with its PC and console counterparts. But Activision recently revealed that the game will have another mode aside from its traditional Battle Royale.

The official Warzone Mobile Twitter account posts, “We’re bringing you a smaller, more focused MP mode that differentiates itself from (Modern Warfare 2) and (Call of Duty Mobile).”

According to the tweet, players can use the multiplayer mode to “test weapons [and] play quick matches.” Users can also grind multiplayer to “train for Battle Royale.” “Warzone Mobile” will include Warzone’s Verdansk map and lobbies with up to 120 players. The game will also include finishing moves, buy stations, and the Gulag.

Activision also announced the a few maps players would be able to play in as part of the mode. These maps are TV Station and fan-favorite Scrapyard.

A few days after the multiplayer mode news, Activision decided to hint at another map for users to enjoy.

Based on the picture they posted, the new map appears to be the newly redesigned Shipment.

The announcement comes days after pre-registration for the title was finally opened to iOS phone users. Previously, the game was only available on Android.

Android pre-registration began on September 15, with iOS pre-registration starting on November 18. According to the App Store, “Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile” will be released on May 15, 2023. Over 25 million people have already pre-registered for the game.
