Croatia
Croatia is booming in tourism—and for good reason. This European country in the Western Balkans is famed for its scenic pebbled beaches, gorgeous waters and rustic mediaeval architecture. Digital nomads can live in this idyllic destination, all they need is proof of an income requirement of US$2465 a month or have US$30,000 in the bank to apply for a digital nomad visa. Colombia
Once considered a danger zone, Colombia is now a tourist hotspot with bustling cities like Bogota and Medellin and rustic coastal towns like Cartagena. This is widely considered one of the world’s easiest digital nomad visas to obtain. You only need to pay a US$52 one-time fee and evidence of an income of at least US$684 per month and you’ll get a two-year stay in the vibrant Latin American country.
Ecuador
Like Colombia, this interesting South American country offers easy digital nomad visas that are also valid for two years. To qualify all you need to prove is that you make US$1284 a month and you’ll be eligible to live in Ecuador.
Hungary
Budapest is one of the most stunning cities in all of Europe with its beautiful architecture and iconic Danube river. Hungary has an open and progressive policy for digital nomads. This visa has a one-year validity period that may be extended for an additional year.
A US$112 application fee and proof of income up to US$2,048 per month are required to get the digital nomad visa.
The Bahamas
Just off the coast of Florida, this pristine island nation has one of the world’s most open digital nomad visa programs. You can live and work in the Bahamas for one year (with an option to extend to three years). All you need to do is comply with the documents like proof of income and health insurance.
