Here’s where you can buy IKEA items in the PH to spruce up your home space

Earlier this year, Swedish home furnishings retailer IKEA announced that they will be opening their largest store yet here in the Philippines. It’s slated to open in 2021, but with the pandemic still going on, we might have to wait a little longer than expected.

But who says you can’t get your hands on IKEA goods right now? Check out these handful  of stores who have hacked the IKEA game: by importing their items from various IKEA stores in other regions like Singapore, Taiwan, and even UAE.

The people behind Frakta loves the furniture brand so much, they named their business after IKEA’s iconic blue shopping bags.

To order, you can either choose from their featured items, or if you’re looking for a specific IKEA item, you can browse through IKEA Dubai’s online catalogue. Forward your wish list to them, and they will give you a quotation and an estimated period of delivery, which is usually after four to six weeks. This is why they group orders by monthly batches, so you better pin that item quick!

As you may have deduced, SGTOMNL buys from stores in Singapore and ships them back home. To order, head on to their official website, pre-order the items you want, pay the 50% downpayment, and wait for the goods to arrive, which is usually after 30-45 days.

They’re also currently holding a Holiday Layaway Program which lets you plan your Christmas gifts ahead. Just shop any item from their store with a price value of P5,000 or more, and pay your balance any time before December 2, 2020. No more holiday queues!

They usually cut off orders every start of the month, and they require a full payment for orders whose sum falls below P15,000.

Furniture Source Philippines

The only seller that has a physical store, Furniture Source Philippines might as well have started the trend of ordering off foreign IKEA stores. Their brick-and-mortar in Rockwell’s Santolan Town Plaza in San Juan City houses authentic IKEA items which they import from various outlet stores in the Asian region.

If, by any chance, you still didn’t find your desired  furniture from their vast range on site or online, you can approach any of their agents to place a special order. They will give you an estimated period of delivery, and you’ll have to pay for the item up front.
